As quickly as we were all waiting for summer to begin, the excessive heat can go away..like yesterday. However, here in NC, this balmy weather usually sticks around until October. The thought of clothing in 106 degree weather may cause you to run to the nearest AC vent and strip down to your underwear, but we have some ideas that we think will help you jazz up your summer warddrobe and have you looking forward to stepping out in style.

1. The LWD (Little White Dress)
White is the new black in the summertime, and there are a plethora of options out there for EVERY body type. We    personally love adding a pop of color for an unexpected and fun touch, so go ahead and add a bold turquoise necklace or even a bright pink blazer to spice up this breezy summertime look.

2. Tribal
Patterns have been HUGE for a while now, and the tribal patterns have been popping up on EVERYTHING. Whether it's ikat or a batik, tribal is the answer to add some edge to any ensemble.

3. Chain-link Necklaces
The chain-link necklace adds that bit of glamour without breaking the bank. It comes in so many lengths, sizes and colors that you will sure to find one to suit your individual style. Dress it up (with that LBD) or dress it down

4. Printed Jeans
We've seen every color of the rainbow when it comes to denim, so it seems like a natural progression to move on to patterned jeans, right? Don't let this look scare you, there are a lot of different options from small pin dot polka dots to large flowers for a bolder look. Pair it with a plain white tank or a chambray shirt and you'll be ready to relax in style.
