Today we are going to focus on one of our all time faves here at Monkee's. Why? Because everytime we open these boxes, we are just blown away by the beauty of the prints, the flattering cuts, and the COLOR!
Introducing....
Creator Angela Taylor George (2nd one from the right in the pic above) started out as a buyer for a popular boutique in Manhattan, which then led her start her own showroom. Through working with many of the world's top brands, her passion for fashion grew into a full-fledged obsession which inspired her to create Alice & Trixie in 1997.
What's with the name, you ask?
The collection was named as a playful tribute to the heroines of the 1950's sitcom, the Honeymooners!
Inspired by her love of art, her worldly travels, and style icons of the past, Angela Taylor George's creation of Alice & Trixie is bohemian glamour at it's best with vibrant prints, chic silhouettes and rich solid hues.
